Reasons for a financial and technical optimisation?

There are many good reasons for an optimisation of a biogas plant:

• General financial issues, e.g. due to a changed legal or financial situation (e.g. less remuneration for feeding the electricity into the grid )
• Technical difficulties which require technical amends and corresponding funds, e.g. swimming layers in the fermenter due to insufficient stirring or inappropriate substrates
• Need for additional funds for an enlargement of a biogas plant, e.g. to use existing additional substrates
• Need for additional funds for other purposes, e.g. to refocus on other agricultural areas (crops, pigs, milk, etc.)
• Personal reasons due to which an owner wants to transfer a majority of his biogas plant, e.g. changes in his personal situation, succession plans, etc.
